The first day of the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh was washed out due to rain. The weather was so bad that even the toss could not take place. The weather was waited for to improve till lunch break but when the clouds kept raining even after that, the match officials cancelled the first day's play. The first day's play being washed out in Rawalpindi is very bad news for Pakistan. That is because this team is trailing Bangladesh 0-1 in the Test series and now it has only four days left to make a comeback. If the weather remains like this in Rawalpindi, then Pakistan will lose the Test series and after that there is bound to be an uproar in the whole country.
Talking about the weather in Rawalpindi, the news is not good for Pakistan. The first day's game was washed out due to rain on Friday, but two more days of rain can cause a big hindrance in this match. According to reports, heavy rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday. Only Saturday and Sunday are the days when sunshine has been predicted. This means that the game can be played properly for two days in this Test match, that too depends on the ground conditions. The weather is taking Bangladesh towards winning the Test series.

Pakistan had a humiliating defeat in the first Test. Bangladesh defeated them by 10 wickets. In the first Test, Pakistan suffered defeat despite scoring 448 runs in the first innings. In response, Bangladesh scored 565 runs and after this Pakistani batting failed in the second innings. Pakistan scored only 146 runs and as a result Bangladesh achieved the target of just 30 runs without losing any wicket. Now if Pakistan is unable to win this match due to rain interruption in the second Test in Rawalpindi, then Bangladesh will win the Test series in Pakistan for the first time and with this, Shan Masood's team will also be out of the race for the final of the World Test Championship.
