Delhi: Indian team cricketer Barinder Sran has recently announced his retirement from international cricket. 31-year-old Sran's international career was not very long, but he has achieved many important achievements in his short career.
Sran announced his retirement through an emotional post on Instagram. He told how he switched from boxing to fast bowling and made his place in cricket. After switching from boxing in 2009, cricket proved to be a lucky charm for him.
The sport gave him the opportunity to play in prestigious leagues like the IPL and also got him the highest honor of representing India in 2016.Sran said in his post, “As I officially hang up my cricket boots, I look back on my journey with a heart full of gratitude. Cricket has given me countless and incredible experiences.” He also thanked the coaches and management he met in his career, who supported him throughout the journey.
