There is tension in the Pakistan cricket team after the crushing defeat in the first Test match at the hands of Bangladesh. The team needs to win the next Test match at any cost. In such a situation, the selection committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board has recalled those 3 players in the squad for the second Test match, who were released before the last Test match. The Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Wednesday, August 28, that spinner Abrar Ahmed, batsman Kamran Ghulam and fast bowler Aamir Jamal will be part of the squad for the second Test. The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played in Rawalpindi itself, which will start from August 30.

Pakistan was defeated by Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the first Test match. This was Bangladesh's first win over Pakistan in Test cricket. The biggest shock for Pakistan was that it had to face such a crushing defeat on its own ground. A major reason for this was the Pakistani bowling, against which Bangladesh scored 565 runs. The Pakistani team came in that match with four fast bowlers and spinner Abrar was released, which raised questions and eventually proved to be disastrous.

Lessons learned from defeat, return to the team

Now before the second Test match, PCB has learnt from its previous mistake and has included 25-year-old leg spinner Abrar in the squad again. This has indicated that Abrar will be a part of the playing eleven in the next Test match. Abrar has played 6 Test matches so far and has taken a total of 38 wickets. The Pakistani team will hope that the lesson learnt from the last match will be useful for them in the next Test. Abrar's return will also provide some relief to Pakistan's pace bowlers, who looked weak in the first Test.

Will this player be fired?

Also, batting all-rounder Kamran Ghulam has been included in the squad again. He was also released along with Abrar and both of them played a match for Pakistan Shaheen. Looking at the performance of the first Test, Kamran Ghulam may get a chance to debut in the second Test, where he can replace Agha Salman in the middle order. Apart from him, fast bowler Aamir Jamal has also been included, who was released to achieve full fitness. However, his playing in the next Test will still depend on his fitness.
