Pakistan vs Bangladesh 1st Test: Bangladesh cricket team created history by defeating Pakistan by 10 wickets in the first test match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This is Bangladesh's first win against Pakistan in this format. With this win, Bangladesh has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. Pakistan team had set a target of runs to win in this match, which Bangladesh achieved in 6.3 overs without losing any wicket.

Earlier, Pakistan came to play on the fifth day at 23 runs after losing 1 wicket and were all out at 146 runs and due to falling behind by a huge margin in the first innings, they kept a small score against Bangladesh. Mohammad Rizwan scored the highest 51 runs for Pakistan in the second innings. Apart from this, Abdullah Shafique played an innings of 37 runs. 7 players of the team could not even reach the double digit figure.

For Bangladesh, Mehdi Hasan Miraz took 4 wickets, Shakib Al Hasan took 3 wickets, Shoriful Islam, Nahid Rana and Hasan Mahmud took 1 wicket each in the second innings.

After being invited to bat first, Pakistan declared their first innings at 448 for the loss of 6 wickets. In which Mohammad Rizwan (171 not out) and Saud Shakeel (141) scored brilliant centuries.

In response, Bangladesh scored 565 runs and took a huge lead of 117 runs in the first innings. Mushfiqur Rahim played a record innings of 191 runs in the first innings for Bangladesh. Apart from this, half-centuries came from the bats of Shadman Islam (93), Mehdi Hasan Miraz (77), Liton Das (56) and Mominul Haque (50).

The second and last Test match of the series will be played in Rawalpindi from August 30.
