RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) performed well in the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Due to which the team made a great comeback even after being at the bottom of the points table and was successful in making it to the playoffs. In IPL 2024, veteran player Virat Kohli's performance for the RCB team was excellent.

While some young players also performed brilliantly. But the performance of RCB team's star players Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Faf du Plessis was not very good. Due to which they can now be dropped from the team.

Faf du Plessis may be released

After IPL 2024, now the mega auction is to be held in December. Due to which it is believed that the team can release RCB captain Faf du Plessis. Because, the team is not able to win the trophy under the captaincy of Plessis.

Glenn and Green may also be released

Apart from this, RCB can also release veteran Australian players Glenn Maxwell and Cameron Green. Because, Maxwell and Green were a complete flop for RCB in IPL 2024.

Due to which they can now be released from the team. Maxwell and Green cannot be a part of the RCB team in IPL 2025. Because, due to the mega auction, it is now difficult to retain these players.

These 7 players can also be thrown out

After IPL 2024, RCB can now retain only 4 to 5 players. Which includes the names of Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Will Jacks, Mohammad Siraj. While 7 more big players are also believed to be released from the RCB team. Which includes the names of Alzari Joseph, Reece Topley, Dinesh Karthik, Lockie Ferguson, Yash Dayal, Tom Curran and Karn Sharma.
