Delhi: Australia's star leg-spinner Adam Zampa has expressed his desire to play Test cricket. Zampa has mainly served his team in white-ball cricket and has been an important player for Australia's ODI team. Let us tell you that Zampa has not yet made his debut in Test cricket.

However, Zampa's participation in the longest format has been limited. He has also played only two matches in first-class cricket since 2019 and both of these matches were for New South Wales.

Despite this, Zampa believes that he still has a chance to play for Australia in Test cricket.

32-year-old Zampa said, “I think I still have a chance to play Test cricket. If I had been playing more Shield cricket, based on my performance I think I would have been doing well.”

The presence of experienced spinner Nathan Lyon in the Australian Test team may make it difficult to find a place for another spinner. However, he may get a chance to return to the Test team when Australia tours Sri Lanka for two Test matches in early 2025.
