Pakistan: Next year i.e. in 2025, Pakistan has to host the Champions Trophy 2025. Before this, the Pakistani team wants to come with strong preparations and they have made a special strategy to win against India.

Actually, Pakistan has got the right to host an ICC tournament after a long time and in such a situation they want to win this tournament. In this connection, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to play a triangular series just before the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan will host an ICC tournament after 28 years

Let us tell you that Pakistan has not got the right to host any ICC tournament in the last 28 years. In fact, cricket has returned to their country after a long time after the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009.

Pakistan last hosted the World Cup in 1996 and India and Sri Lanka were also the joint hosts in it. So after that, Pakistan is going to host an ICC tournament for the first time and they are also the defending champions of the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan will play triangular series

In fact, to prepare for the Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistani team has organized a triangular series just before this tournament. A total of three teams are going to participate in this series, which includes teams from New Zealand and South Africa apart from Pakistan.

The last time the Pakistani team played a series with more than two teams was in 1997. The last time they played was a quadrangular series against South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka and now they will be seen playing a tri-series in 2025 as well. Apart from this, they also have to play against India in the Champions Trophy.

Full schedule of tri series

According to all media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board has submitted the draft schedule for the Champions Trophy to the ICC. According to sources, this mega event will start from February 19 and its first match will be played between host Pakistan and New Zealand.

However, the complete schedule of the tri-series to be played before this Champions Trophy (Champions Trophy 2025) has arrived and it will start from February 8. In this event, all the teams are going to play two matches each and the top-2 teams in the points table will qualify for the final. All these matches will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
