PSL will happen along with IPL

The Pakistani board has indicated in a meeting that the next season of PSL can be held between 10 April and 25 May. That is, the same time when the IPL season is played and the world's top players are present in India. Now if the Pakistani board does this, then it is certain that the big names who play in its league apart from IPL will not be able to play in it. Not only this, there can be a huge decrease in the number of people watching the Pakistani league on TV, which can also affect the earnings from broadcasting rights.

Why is PCB competing?

Actually, the PCB has been forced to do this because this time it has to organize the Champions Trophy at home, which will run from February to March. Just before this tournament, it will also host a triangular series, in which New Zealand and South Africa will participate.
