Rajasthan: In the second match of the 3 match ODI series being played between India and Sri Lanka on Sri Lankan soil, host Sri Lanka performed brilliantly and defeated India by 32 runs. After this, Kusal Mendis and Avishka Fernando shared a 74-run partnership.After this, the Indian team's bowlers made a strong comeback and took 6 wickets of Sri Lanka for 136 runs. After this, the heroes of the last match, Dunith Welalage and Kamindu Mendis handled the innings and took Sri Lanka past 200 runs. There was a valuable partnership of 72 runs between the two for the 7th wicket.
After this, Sri Lanka's innings reached a score of 240 for 9 wickets in 50 overs. Kamindu Mendis contributed 40 runs and Avishka Fernando also contributed 40 runs, while Dunith Welalage scored 39 runs.
