Ashwin came up with a hilarious response to Jadeja's fluent Tamil message, congratulating him. Notably, Ashwin and Jadeja have been India's most successful Test bowling pair, when they went past Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh's record during the first Test match against England in Hyderabad. At a ceremony hosted by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to celebrate Ashwin's extraordinary feats of attaining 500 Test wickets and participating in his 100th Test match, Jadeja seized the moment to convey his admiration and felicitations, channeling the iconic style of Tamil cinema legend Rajinikanth. "Hi Ash anna, congratulation on your 100th Test match and 500 Test wickets. I am very, very happy for you, and your contribution to Indian cricket has been amazing. You can continue taking a lot of wickets and sharing your mastermind with me so that I can also take a few wickets and become a great legend like you," said Jadeja. Jadeja, in a fluent Tamil message, playfully addressed Ashwin by drawing inspiration from a classic Rajnikanth movie, "Thillu Mullu," where he likened their partnership to the film's iconic characters, Indran and Chandran. "And we also share the same name as well. I am Ravi Indran and you're Ravi Chandran. Meesha vachavan Indran, meesha vaykathavan Chandran (The one with the moustache Indran and the one without the moustache, Chandran)," Jadeja quipped, showcasing not just his cricketing skills but also his knack for engaging in light-hearted banter. Jadeja alludes to Rajinikanth's characters Indran and Chandran from the 1981 movie 'Thillu Mullu'. Rajinikanth, aka Chandran, disguises himself as Indran after lying to his supervisor. In the hilarious blockbuster, Chandran sports a moustache whereas Indran does not. Ashwin's response to this humorous message was equally entertaining.
