Actually, when India was sleeping at midnight, he was being robbed in Paris. Here we are talking about Indian boxer Nishant Dev, who was sure to win a medal when he entered the men's 71 KG weight category. But, according to the fans, he could not do so due to dishonesty.

How did Nishant lose the winning match?

In the quarterfinal match of men's boxing, India's Nishant Dev had to face defeat from Mexico's Marco Verde. The judges gave a decision 1-4 against Nishant. Indian fans seemed unhappy with this decision. This is because Nishant was leading in the first 2 bouts. But, after the third bout, he lost the match. Fans are hurt by this decision of the judges along with Nishant Dev.

Nishant Dev was one step away from securing a medal in the Paris Olympics. If the result of the quarter-finals had been in his favour, India would have been assured of another medal.
