Harbhajan Singh Slams Pakistan’s Journalist: Recently, Harbhajan Singh justified BCCI's stance of not sending Team India to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025 and raised questions on the security of the neighboring country.

Regarding this, a Pakistani journalist took a dig at Harbhajan on social media. After this, Bhajji gave a strong reply and ripped apart the Pakistani journalist.

Pakistan's Farid Khan shared the scorecard of the match in which Shahid Afridi hit 4 sixes in a row against Harbhajan Singh on social media platform X and tagged Bhajji and said that this is why you have security issues in Pakistan, isn't it? Harbhajan retweeted the post and shared a screenshot of a newspaper from 2009 when the Sri Lankan team bus was attacked by Pakistani terrorists.

He used this reference to refer to the security concerns within the country and suggested that this is the reason why the Indian team should not travel to Pakistan.

Bhajji tweeted along with the screenshot, “No, not for this.

There are wins and losses in cricket. I will tell you that this is the real problem. See the photo.” Harbhajan also used the word 'F' in his tweet and said, “Did you understand the meaning of F or should I explain it? It means your name. Please don't think the meaning of F was the same. You know what I mean. Peace.”

Uncertainty remains over India's visit to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025

Terrorist attacks between India and Pakistan caused a rift in relations. This is why Team India has not visited Pakistan for more than a decade and neither is there a bilateral series between the two countries.

These two teams come face to face only in Asia Cup and ICC tournaments. However, the Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan next year, which is an ICC tournament. Despite this, the BCCI has not yet given any indication about going to Pakistan. It is believed that like last year's Asia Cup, this time Team India can play the Champions Trophy in a hybrid model.
