However, after this Shivam Dubey also got out after scoring 25 runs. Due to which Sri Lanka made a comeback in the match and tied the match by taking the wicket of Arshdeep Singh. In this match, head coach Gautam Gambhir sent Washington Sundar to bat in the upper order. After which the team's innings faltered.
