According to the report from the Times of India, Parth Jindal is of the view that the reduced role for all-rounders due to the 'Impact Player' rule in the IPL is detrimental to the growth of Indian cricket.
Notably, the meeting between the franchise owners and the IPL officials in Mumbai was about discussing the policies around player retention and the mega auction ahead of the 2025 season of the league.
Parth Jindal was quoted as saying, as per Gaurav Gupta of the Times of India, 'I am not in favour of the Impact player rule as it's detrimental for Indian cricket as it hinders the growth of allrounders, though it gives chances to a lot of new players.'
