After five shots, Ramita was in a good position. She had reached the fourth position, but after that her aim deteriorated and she slipped to the 7th position. After that, she gradually lost the chance of winning the medal.

Arjun Babuta also missed out on winning the medal

There were a lot of expectations from Arjun Babuta in the final of the men's 10 meter air rifle. It was believed that if Ramita could not win, then at least Arjun Babuta would definitely hit the target like Arjun of Mahabharata and bring a medal for India, but ultimately he also dashed all hopes.

Although he had started well. He hit the first shot of 10.7 and after that also by hitting good shots he came very close to winning the gold medal, but in the end his shot went bad, due to which he slipped to fourth place and with this his hopes of winning a medal also ended.

Archery team also missed the chance to win a medal

India's archery team also had a good chance to win a medal, but their performance deteriorated in the beginning and they could not capitalize on this opportunity. All three players in the team, Tarundeep Rai, Dheeraj Bommadevara and Praveen Jadhav, disappointed in the quarter-final match itself.

Apart from Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta, the pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha disappointed in the group stage of badminton women's doubles. Hockey match ended in a draw

The hockey match between India and Argentina was also nothing special. Argentina took the lead by scoring a goal over India in the second quarter itself. However, in the last minutes of the game, Indian team captain Harmanpreet Singh scored a goal and equalized the match, which resulted in a draw.

Satvik-Chirag pair created history

In badminton, the pair of Satwik and Chirag played brilliantly and created history. Their pair has become the first Indian doubles pair to reach the quarter-finals of badminton in the Olympics.
