Raichandani and Sehwag make their way out to the middle to open the batting for India. A sizeable crowd, mostly comprising youngsters, are in attendance for the game. India vs Pakistan. On Diwali. On a Sunday. Expect plenty of fireworks.

First ball, Ali Raza takes the new ball for Pakistan, hits the deck hard on the outside off stump line first up, Raichandanai happy to leave it alone.

Oh gone! Brainfade moment for Raichandani! Tries to leave it again but Raza’s delivery nips back and hits top of off! India’s skipper has to walk back for a two-ball duck! Dream start for Pakistan!!

VK Vineeth is the new batter for India. First runs on the board for India, Vineeth drives to mid off, small misfield allows the run. Ooooohh Raza swings it back in again, Sehwag tries to drive through covers, takes his inside edge, he’s off the mark regardless.

A single to leg to finish the first over.
