Team India: A 3-match T20 series is currently being played between Team India and Sri Lanka (SL VS IND) at Pallekele International Stadium, Kandy. In the first match played at the Kandy ground, Team India won the match by 43 runs with the help of Suryakumar Yadav's match-winning captaincy innings. Captain Suryakumar Yadav will hardly be seen making any changes in the second match of the T20 series.

If Team India wins the second match of the T20 series as well, then the team management can make changes in the playing 11 and give rest to Rinku Singh and Rishabh Pant and in their place provide an opportunity to other Indian star players present in the team squad to join the playing 11.

Sanju and Dubey may get a chance in the third match
