The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (October 28), with some massive names up for grabs. At the end of last month, all five franchises revealed their lists of retained and released players.
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru released Grace Harris and Linsey Smith, while Gujarat Giants parted ways with Danielle Wyatt in what was a huge surprise. The veteran English batter was one of the top performers during the WT20 World Cup earlier this year.
