Two-time defending champion India will begin its title defence against West Indies at next year’s Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup.

The ICC announced the schedule for the biennial tournament, which will see 16 teams compete in Bangladesh and Nepal.

Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup 2027 Groups

Group A: India, Ireland, West Indies, Nepal

Group B: South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Samoa

Group C: Australia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Group D: England, Sri Lanka, United States of America (USA), Scotland

India schedule for Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup 2027

India vs West Indies: Friday, January 22 (Tu International Cricket Stadium, Nepal)

Nepal vs India: Sunday, January 24 (Tu International Cricket Stadium, Nepal)

India vs Ireland: Tuesday, January 26 (Tu International Cricket Stadium, Nepal)

The group stage will run through until 26 January, after which the qualifying teams advance to the Super Six stage, divided into two groups. The top two from each of the Super Six-group will enter the semifinals.

The last-four fixtures are scheduled for February 4 at Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, with a reserve day confirmed on February 5.

The final will be played on February 6 at 1:30pm local time, with February 7 set aside as a reserve day.
