In the second semi-final of the Women's Asia Cup T20, 2024, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 3 wickets with the help of captain Chamari Athapaththu's half-century. Now they will face India in the final on 28 July. In the second semi-final played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 140 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Muniba Ali scored the most runs from the team. She faced 34 balls and scored 37 runs with the help of 5 fours. Atapattu and Dilhari shared a 59(46) run partnership for the third wicket. Sadia Iqbal took the most 4 wickets for Pakistan. Omaima Sohail and Nida Dar took one wicket each.
