Fresh off their five-match T20I series against the West Indies, which wrapped up, the Indian men's team flies to New Zealand on Sunday for a busy all-format tour against the Black Caps. The trip opens with five T20Is, followed by five ODIs and a two-match Test series. In parallel, India A will play three unofficial Tests against New Zealand A before the senior side's Test leg begins.

India have gone with a massive squad for the tour, with over 30 players spread across five different squads. Shubman Gill will lead the side in the three ODIs and two Tests, while Shreyas Iyer takes charge for the T20I series and the final two ODIs. Jasprit Bumrah has been picked only for the Test series, which starts on November 19, while Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will feature only in the ODI leg.

The five ODIs in New Zealand will serve as valuable preparation for the 2027 ODI World Cup, while the two Tests are critical for India's hopes of reaching the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
