Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) have completed a player trade ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, with left-arm pacer T Natarajan returning to his former franchise and leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari moving in the opposite direction.
Natarajan returns to SRH after one season with DC
Natarajan established himself as one of SRH's key Indian pace bowlers during his previous stint with the franchise. His most successful IPL campaign came in 2024, when he claimed 19 wickets, finishing as the team's leading wicket-taker and playing a crucial role in SRH's run to the final.
Delhi Capitals had acquired the left-arm pacer for INR 10.75 crore at the IPL 2025 Player Auction. However, following the trade, Natarajan will return to SRH at a revised fee of INR 5 crore. His return could strengthen SRH's pace-bowling options, with his left-arm angle and ability to deliver at the death adding experience to the attack.
