IPL 2027 LSG Head Coach

Former Australian cricketer and cricket coach Justin Langer is the expected to continue as head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for IPL 2027 season.

The former Australian opening batter joined the Lucknow-based franchise in July 2023 and continues to be the head coach of the LSG to date.

Following his retirement in 2009, Langer was appointed as the Australian national cricket team’s batting coach and senior assistant coach from November 2009 until November 2012, when he was appointed senior coach of the Perth Scorchers and Western Australia.

Langer was appointed as the coach of the Australian national cricket team on 3 May 2018 and continued his role till 2022.

On 4 February 2022, Justin Langer announced his resignation as head coach of the Australia men’s team.

Justin Langer played 105 Tests and 8 ODIs between 1993 and 2017 for Australia and scored 7696 and 160 runs respectively.

IPL 2027 LSG Batting Coach

Jayakumar has been appointed as the LSG batting coach on June 2026 aiming to make a structural revamp in the franchise.

He served as specialised coach for the senior kerala T20 and 50-overs teams, working under head coach Tinu Yohannan.

He served as the state team’s dedicated batting coach. He notably collaborated with former Indian national bowling coach Bharat Arun during high-intensity pre-season training camps to overhaul Kerala’s batting depth.

He also served as the head coach of Andhra Pradesh state team in Ranji Trophy between 2019 and 2020.

IPL 2027 LSG Bowling Coach

Bharat Arun is set to continue as the bowling coach of the LSG for the IPL 2027 season. He joined the side on July 30, 2025 signing a two-year contract with the franchise.

He started his coaching career in 2002 with Tamil Nadu state team where they reached the Ranji Trophy finals twice in 2003 and 2004.

He also worked as chief bowling coach at NCA in Bengaluru, where he systematically overhauled the development structure for young Indian pacers.

He also served as the head coach of the U19 squad, famously leading India to a World Cup victory in Australia in 2012.
