Nagoya: Nepal has defeated Afghanistan by 5 wickets in the Asian Games cricket event. Afghanistan batted first at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan. The team could score only 102 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Nepal achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 17.2 overs.

For Nepal, Sandeep Jora scored 34 runs and Rohit Paudel scored 33 runs.
