Indian women's cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by 147 runs in the gold medal match of Asian Games-2026, after which India won the gold medal.

India scored 216 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs, in which Smriti Mandhana scored 79 runs, Richa Ghosh scored 49 not out and Shefali Verma scored 48 runs.

There was a partnership of 99 runs for the first wicket between Mandhana and Shefali. Mandhana's 45 balls included 5 fours and 7 sixes. During this innings, she also completed 11 thousand runs in women's international cricket. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 19 runs.
