Abhishek smashed a century off 30 balls and broke several records; India defeated Afghanistan by 127 runs.

New Delhi. Opener Abhishek Sharma blasted Afghanistan's bowling attack in the third and final T20 International on Thursday, scoring a century in 30 balls, helping India win by 127 runs and take the series 3-0.

Abhishek played an inning of 108 runs in 34 balls which included 11 sixes and nine fours. This is his third century in T20 international cricket. By scoring a century in just 30 balls, he became the fastest Indian cricketer to score a century in this format. With this, India scored a huge score of 221 runs for seven wickets.

Most of Abhishek's powerful shots went over the bowlers' heads and crossed the boundary. His century is also the fastest century by a batsman from any Test playing country against another Test playing country.

He broke New Zealand's Finn Allen's record of century scored in 33 balls against South Africa in the same year. Chasing this target, Afghanistan team was all out for 94 runs in 14.1 overs. Both Afghanistan's batting and bowling have been disappointing in this series.

Now both the teams will leave from here for the Asian Games. Abhishek completed his half-century in 16 balls and completed his century in the ninth over. He completed 99 runs with a brilliant pull shot off Abdullah Ahmadzai and then touched the three-figure mark with one run.

After completing the century, Abhishek celebrated in a sitting and meditative posture. The audience also stood up and welcomed this special innings. However, in the end Afghanistan succeeded in restricting India below the 250-run mark.
