England won the toss and opted to bowl. During the toss, England Captain Harry Brook said, “We will bowl first.

We have been very consistent in an inconsistent format. It is good to see everyone buy into what we are trying to achieve.”

Meanwhile, Charith Asalanka said, “I would have bowled too.

Thirteen losses is too much. We want to break that rhythm and play good cricket. We know England are consistent, so we have to be spot-on in all three departments. We have to come back well and forget Tuesday night.”
