2026 AFG vs IND 3rd T20I Playing 11: Ibrahim Zadran-led Afghanistan will square off against Shreyas Iyer-led India in the 3rd T20I match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

India secured a 7-wicket victory in the first two T20Is and will be aiming for a whitewash against Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan will be hunting for a win against India in the upcoming clash. Afghanistan and India have met on 11 occasions, with the Men in Blue having 10 wins, while one game ended with no result.

Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bow. Speaking at the toss, Ibrahim Zadran said, “We are going to bowl first.

We lost the toss in the last two matches. There will be some support for the bowlers at the start. We have lost the series but we have thought about the areas where we haven’t done well. India are one of the best teams. We want to keep things easier for us.”

Speaking on today’s Afghanistan playing 11, Zadran said, “We have two changes. Gulbadin Naib and Noor Ahmad are not playing. Abdullah Ahmadzai and Noor ul Rahman are in.”

Meanwhile, India captain Shreyas Iyer said, “We would have definitely batted first as well. I interacted with him.

I knew what he would do. Yes, absolutely, and it also gives us a fun challenge to bat here to the best of our abilities. And also, we spoke about this at the end of the last match, that they ease nicely into this role.”

“Obviously, we are batting first. That doesn’t mean that we are going to go completely berserk. We need to adapt. We need to see to it that we are getting acclimatized to the situation as well. So yeah, good challenge, looking forward to it,” added Iyer.
