Sanju Samson, one of the best wicketkeepers of Team India, has been selected by the BCCI management as the main wicketkeeper in the 3-match T20 series against Sri Lanka. Sanju Samson was earlier also included in the team for the T20 World Cup 2024.

However, he could not be a part of the playing eleven in any match of that tournament. It is being said about Sanju Samson that it is very difficult for him to get a chance in any match against Sri Lanka by the management of Team India. After hearing this news, all the supporters of Sanju are looking very disappointed.

Sanju Samson will not get a chance in the playing 11

Sanju Samson has been selected by the management for the T20 series against Sri Lanka, but it is very difficult for him to get a chance in the playing eleven. Because Sanju Samson bats in the upper order and due to this, fitting him in the playing 11 is going to be a tough task for the management. In this series, the management has included players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav for the upper order, due to which Sanju Samson is not able to make a place in the top order.

Rishabh Pant can replace Sanju Samson

If Sanju Samson is not able to be a part of the playing 11, then the management can look at another wicketkeeper batsman in his place. It is being said that in place of Sanju Samson, the BCCI management can consider young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant to be a part of the playing eleven. Rishabh Pant is capable of batting at any order and with his arrival, the left-right combination is also available to the management. However, if the management wants, it can consider sending Sanju Samson to bat at number 3.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj.
