England vs West Indies 2nd Test: England bowler Mark Wood created a sensation with his fast bowling during the second day of the second Test match being played against West Indies at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Wood came to bowl in the 10th over of the innings and bowled the slowest ball in this over at a speed of 148.38 KMPH.

Mark Wood bowled the first ball of the over at a speed of 150.15 Kmph. The second ball was bowled at 154.65 Kmph, the third ball at 153.20 Kmph and the fourth ball at 148.38 Kmph. The fifth ball of the over was the fastest which he bowled at a speed of 155.30 Kmph. The speed of the sixth and last ball was 153.20 Kmph.

With this, he made a special record in his name. This is the fastest first over bowled by an England player in Test cricket. Also, this is the fastest over bowled by an English player on England's soil.

Wood then bowled at a speed of 156.26 Kmph during his third over.
