The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday (18 July) announced the T20 and ODI team for the Sri Lanka tour. The selectors preferred Suryakumar Yadav over Hardik Pandya and made him the new captain of the T20 International team. In the 92-year history of Indian cricket, Suryakumar has become the fourth regular captain of India, who made his international debut after the age of 30 and then captained the Indian team.
