The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. As reported earlier, Suryakumar Yadav has been India’s new captain. He replaced Rohit Sharma, who retired from the shortest format after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Shubman Gill is the vice-captain. Gill led the Men in Blue to a 4-1 win over Zimbabwe.
