During this, San Francisco Unicorns faced Seattle Orcas. There was a commotion during the match when a bowler from San Francisco was seriously injured.

This incident happened when Seattle Orcas were batting. Left-handed batsman Ryan Rickelton was at the crease. The ball was in the hands of Carmi Le Roux. Ryan played a powerful shot in front on a full length ball from Carmi. However, the ball hit his bat and went straight to Carmi Le Roux's head.
