Made RCB win in WPL 2024

Smriti Mandhana led Royal Challengers Bangalore to their maiden Women's Premier League (WPL) title earlier this year in a historic final against Delhi Capitals. Overcoming a do-or-die situation in the group stage, Bangalore made it to the playoffs in the final game by defeating Mumbai Indians. Playing a crucial 31-run knock in the final, Smriti led the Bangalore side to an eight-wicket win over two-time finalists Delhi.

Won ICC's special title twice

Smriti Mandhana won the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year title for the second time on the basis of her excellent performance in 2021. This title is known as the Rachel Hayhoe-Flint Award. Earlier she won this award in 2018. She became the second player in the world to do so. Smriti joined Australian star Alice Perry in the club of cricketers who won this award twice. Recently, England's Nat Sciver-Brunt became the third female cricketer to achieve this feat with consecutive wins in 2022 and 2023.
