T20 World Cup: The ICC Champions Trophy is to be organized in 2025 under the hosting of Pakistan, in which cricketing countries from all over the world will participate. However, it is being speculated that Team India will not tour Pakistan.

In such a situation, Pakistan can refuse to come to India for the T20 World Cup 2026 to be jointly organized by India and Sri Lanka out of revenge, in such a situation this team can be given a place in place of Pakistan.

If the Indian cricket team does not tour Pakistan to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy, then the Pakistan cricket team may refuse to tour India for the T20 World Cup 2026 to be hosted by India.

In such a situation, Uganda cricket team can be given a chance in place of Pakistan cricket team in the T20 World Cup. A total of 20 teams will participate in the T20 World Cup 2026. If seen from the ICC ranking point of view, Uganda's team is at number 21. In such a situation, if the ICC will determine the teams from the ranking, then after Pakistan's withdrawal, if Uganda maintains its ranking, then it can get a chance.

Because of this reason, Indian team may refuse to go to Pakistan

It is being said that Team India may refuse to go to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy due to security reasons. Earlier also, Team India did not tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup matches, after which the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) adopted a hybrid model for Team India's matches. However, no official statement has come from the BCCI so far.

BCCI may demand hybrid model

If the security agencies see any input indicating threats to Team India on the Pakistan tour, then the Indian government can refuse BCCI to send the team on the Pakistan tour. In such a situation, BCCI can ask ICC for a hybrid model. If ICC agrees to the hybrid model, then India's matches can be held in Sri Lanka, Dubai or Bangladesh. If this does not happen, then Team India will not participate in the ICC Champions Trophy.
