He had said that they took revenge by defeating India. Here, Younus Khan's revenge meant the defeat of the Pakistani team at the hands of India in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Yunus Khan did not stop at this, he gave a similar statement from the final of WCL 2024, in which his overconfidence dominated him. After winning the semi-final match, he said that now it does not matter to him whether it is India or Australia in the final.
