What was expected in the final of the World Championship of Legends happened. India Champions defeated Pakistan Champions. Retired Indian players won the match by 5 wickets against their Pakistani counterparts. The entire team contributed to this magnificent victory of India. But, the work done by Yuvraj Singh and Pathan brothers in the middle to the last overs really stole the peace of Pakistan and the victory of India Champions was 100 percent confirmed.

India Champions' captain Yuvraj Singh may have been in his explosive mood in the semi-final match against Australia.

But, he looked absolutely cool in the final against Pakistan. He did just one thing - to stand firmly at the crease. He held one end. The advantage of which was that the Pathan brothers got freedom to play freely from the other end.

Yusuf Pathan hit more than half the sixes in the Indian innings

Yusuf Pathan hit the most sixes for Pakistan. These two brothers wreaked havoc on Australia in the semi-finals and also on Pakistan in the finals. Yusuf Pathan's innings was so destructive that it included more than half of the sixes in the Indian innings. A total of 6 sixes were hit by India in the final, out of which Yusuf Pathan hit 3 sixes alone.

Playing at a strike rate of more than 187 with these 3 sixes, he hit 30 runs in just 16 balls.

When Yusuf went, Irfan started and hit a winning four

Pakistan had given India a target of 157 runs and when Yusuf Pathan got out, India had already scored 150 runs. This means that now only 7 more runs were left to be scored for victory. In such a situation, after the departure of the elder Pathan, the younger one i.e. Irfan Pathan did the rest of the work. The winning shot for the Indian Champions against the Pakistanis came from Irfan Pathan's bat.

He remained unbeaten after scoring 5 runs in 4 balls.

Yuvraj Singh played the anchor role

Captain Yuvraj Singh did a great job of holding one end amidst the aggressive cricket played by both the Pathan brothers. Yuvraj remained unbeaten till the end and scored 15 runs in 22 balls.

Pakistan will not forget this record

A great record was also maintained due to the contribution of Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan in the victory in the final. In fact, India had never lost the final against Pakistan in the past nor has it lost now due to the presence of these two brothers.
