Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan next year. However, there are still many questions among the fans about this tournament. The first question is whether the Indian team will go to the neighboring country and participate in the Champions Trophy 2025 or not.
Recently, a big media organization had claimed that BCCI has asked ICC to organize its matches at neutral venues. Meanwhile, the 15-member squad of Team India has been revealed. Rohit Sharma has been given the command of the team.
The unofficial schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been announced. The tournament will start on 19 February 2025. The first match will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan. The final of the tournament will be played on 9 March.
Let us tell you that all the matches will be held in three venues - Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi. Team India will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 February. Their second match is going to be against New Zealand on 23 February and the third match is going to be against Pakistan on 1 February.
Last day, news agency ANI shared a big information. They told on their social media platform Twitter that Team India will not go to Pakistan to participate in Champions Trophy 2025. BCCI will not allow its team for this.
Actually, the political relations between these two have not been good for years. Apart from this, Pakistan has been accused of constantly carrying out terrorist attacks in India. This is the reason why both the teams have not played any bilateral series since 2013-14.
Rohit Sharma is going to lead Team India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In fact, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has already made this big announcement by releasing a video. Apart from this, he had told that in the upcoming tournament, most of the players will be part of the squad who were part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2024 played in America and West Indies.
