Delhi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has removed former fast bowler Wahab Riaz and veteran all-rounder Abdul Razzaq from the selection committee of its national cricket team. Now, after them, former batsmen Mohammad Yusuf and Asad Shafiq are included as members of the selection committee, while Bilal Afzal is also one of its members.

According to Pakistani media, PCB did not trust Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq for some time.

They had more involvement in the selection of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 team and these selectors supported the same players whom they knew. According to sources, the opinion of these selectors was not being taken for some time.

For your information, let us tell you that the selection committee of the Pakistan national cricket team included 4 former cricketers Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq, Asad Shafiq and Mohammad Yousuf, while Wahab was also the senior manager of the team.
