Team India: Team India is currently playing in the Zimbabwe T20 series under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. Playing under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, Team India has tasted one defeat and one victory in the two matches played so far in the series.

The selection committee has announced a new 15-member team squad for the last 3 matches of the Zimbabwe T20 series (IND VS ZIM). Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been included in the team while 3 star players have been dropped.

In the team squad playing under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, the selection committee has made a big change for the last 3 T20 matches and has included recently world champion star players Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey in the team squad.

These 3 star players were declared unavailable for the first 2 T20 matches by the selection committee a few days before the start of the T20 series. Due to which Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey were not able to join the team squad for the first 2 T20 matches.

Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma and 3 other players were discharged

Sai Sudarshan, who made his T20 debut for Team India in the second match of the Zimbabwe T20 series, wicketkeeper batsman Jitesh Sharma and fast bowler Harshit Rana were included in the team squad by the selection committee only for the first 2 T20 matches. Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey have been given a chance in place of these star players for the last 3 matches of the T20 series.
