BCCI had organized a grand celebration to celebrate the return of ICC trophy after 11 years. For this, a victory parade was held from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium on 4 July. During this, lakhs of fans had arrived to welcome the players. Captain Rohit Sharma and other players accepted everyone's greetings from the open bus. While going to the stadium, Virat did something to celebrate the trophy with Rohit Sharma on the bus, seeing which Rohit Sharma's fans are praising him.

Rajiv Shukla was sidelined

The entire Indian team and some BCCI officials were doing a victory parade in an open bus. During this, Virat Kohli wanted to celebrate by lifting the trophy in front of the fans along with his friend and team captain Rohit Sharma. BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla was also standing with Virat in the front of the bus. Some other people were also standing with them, so there was no space left on the bus. After this, Virat asked Rajiv Shukla to move aside. As soon as Rajiv Shukla moved from there, he called Rohit and put one hand on his shoulder. Then both of them lifted the trophy in front of the fans with one hand each and cheered.

After the victory parade, when Team India reached the Wankhede Stadium, the players were felicitated there. During this time, thousands of fans were already present to see the World Cup heroes. Virat Kohli openly expressed his feelings about the World Cup victory regarding Rohit Sharma in front of all of them. Kohli said that the kind of welcome the team got here was very special. Kohli remembered the time after Team India's victory, when he was returning to the dressing room and Rohit Sharma was also there. Kohli said that both of us were crying together and hugged each other. Kohli said that this moment will remain with him for the rest of his life.
