Delhi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi has talked about changing the captain of his national team. In an informal conversation with the media in Lahore, he said that people are demanding surgery. Never take any decision in anger, decisions taken in haste are often harmful.

He said, “Head coach Gary Kirsten has submitted the report. In the report, he has given detailed information about the performance in the World Cup. Kirsten and Azhar Mahmood have been called for discussion. I am in touch with them. Former cricketers are looking for tips to improve cricket. Contact those former players who know how to improve cricket.”

Mohsin Naqvi said, “The biggest goal is how to improve the negative performance of the national team, the day I come under pressure, I will think it is better to go home. I am trying to improve cricket and PCB by looking at things with patience. Improving things inside PCB is also a challenge. People inside PCB show something else and the truth on the ground is something else.”

What was the decision regarding changing the captain?

The PCB chairman said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the replacement of captain Babar Azam, former cricketers will decide on the replacement of the captain. I also feel that mistakes have been made, but later Babar Azam and former cricketers will decide, Wahab Riaz did not meet.
