Got abused in IPL, won hearts in World Cup

This video is enough to tell that it does not take long for times to change. Just a few weeks ago, during IPL 2024, slogans were being raised against Hardik during the Mumbai Indians match in the same stadium. Hardik had replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai before this season, which was not liked by the fans of this franchise and especially Rohit Sharma. Throughout the tournament, Mumbai and Rohit fans raised slogans against Hardik and abusive words were used against him.

These same fans changed completely after a few weeks and came out in support of Hardik as the star all-rounder started showing his prowess in the T20 World Cup. In the final, Hardik made the team champion by taking 3 wickets including two of the biggest batsmen like Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller. Apart from scoring 144 runs in the entire tournament, Hardik also took 11 wickets and won the hearts of the fans along with the World Cup.
