The Indian team has taken many new faces along on this tour, one of which is Riyan Parag. Let us tell you that Riyan Parag could have got into a big trouble before going on the Zimbabwe tour, but he narrowly escaped at the last moment.

I forgot important things

Actually, before going to Zimbabwe, Riyan Parag had forgotten where he had kept his phone and passport.

If he had lost his passport, there is no doubt that his dream of going to Zimbabwe would have remained just a dream and he would have had to return home. However, luck favoured him at the last moment and he found his belongings.

BCCI has shared a video of Team India from its official x account in which Riyan Parag is seen talking about his phone and passport.

He said, 'It was my dream to travel like this since childhood. We play matches, but the things that come with cricket, traveling with the team, wearing Indian clothes. I was so excited that I forgot my passport and mobile phone.'

Riyan Parag further said, 'Actually, I had not forgotten them, I had just kept them here and there and now they are with me.' He further said, 'There are many new faces in the team, but for me they are old because we have played together. Now Zimbabwe will always be special for me, whenever I play my first match on any ground, I will always remember it.' Let us tell you that the first match of the T20 series between India and Zimbabwe will be played on July 6.

Riyan Parag can also get a chance to debut in this match.
