BCCI: Apart from India's legendary batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has suffered a huge loss.

Actually, India won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and with this they became champions in this format after 17 years. Captain Rohit Sharma played an important role in winning this World Cup, while Virat's bat may not have performed well during the entire tournament, but he played a brilliant innings in the final and led the team to victory.

Actually, till now Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were among those players who were continuously playing in all three formats for India and were performing well. However, now these three have announced retirement from one format and this may harm them.

These three great players are currently included in the Grade A+ category in BCCI's central contract and if they do not want to play in one format, then they can be included in Grade A and this can lead to a reduction in their salary.

Rohit, Virat and Jadeja will get this many crores

If Rohit, Virat and Jadeja play T20 cricket, they can be included in Grade A and this can lead to a reduction of Rs 2 crore in their salary. Let us tell you that players included in Grade A+ get Rs 7 crore annually, while players included in A get Rs 5 crore.

In such a situation, when these three play only two formats, they can be included in Grade A. However, if this happens, it will be applicable from the Central Contract of 2025 and for now, they will remain included in the A+ category in the Central Contract of 2024.
