After winning the world in Barbados, the world champion stars of Team India will set foot on Indian soil in just a few hours. The trophy which was awaited for the last 17 years is returning to India once again. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, will return to the country on Thursday, July 4 after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title. Team India and support staff, led by BCCI secretary Jai Shah, are returning to India by a charter plane. Now that the team has become the world champion, it wants to celebrate it in the country as well and hence the team has to participate in some special events from New Delhi to Mumbai on July 4.
That is, Indian players will not even have time to breathe. On 29 June, Team India won the title by defeating South Africa in the final. Team India was stuck in Barbados since then, because the airports of this country were closed due to the storm. In such a situation, the Indian Board ordered a special plane of Air India and now finally on 3 July, Team India left from there. Team India will come directly to New Delhi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a special meeting with the world champion players and then the team will celebrate among the fans in Mumbai.
