Shadab Khan takes Hat-trick in LPL after going wicketless in T20 World Cup for Pakistan

A change in competition seems to have restored the wicket-taking touch of Shadab Khan as the Pakistan all-rounder starred in his very first match in the Lanka Premier League.
  Shadab, who made his debut in the LPL for Colombo Strikers, secured a fantastic all-round performance which helped his team to win the match by 51 runs against the Kandy Falcons. Shadab Khan scores with Bat Shadab Khan batted at the middle-order and scored 20 runs off 17 balls with the willow. He helped his team to reach a decent total of 198 after batting first in the match. He got the wicket of Kamindu Mendis earlier, and then produced a gem final over of his spell. The Pakistani spinner got a hat-trick in his final over as Kandy capitulated from a promising situation. The 25-year-old picked up Kandy's captain Wanindu Hasaranga first, and then cleaned up his Pakistani compatriot Agha Salman. In the hat-trick delivery, Shadab caught Pawan Rathnayake in front of the wicket and got three wickets in consecutive deliveries.  
  From 146 for 5, Kandy got bundled out for just 147 runs as Colombor started off the new season with a mammoth victory. He didn't manage a single wicket in the tournament and was underwhelming with the bat as well as Pakistan were eliminated from the group stages.
