When the ball was coming, I looked at him for a second. I ran, my goal was to catch the ball. If Rohit bhai was closer to me, I would have thrown the ball towards him. But he was not close. I cannot explain what happened in those four to five seconds.'

Suryakumar Yadav further said, 'When I caught the ball and threw it inside the field and then caught the catch, I knew that I had not touched the boundary rope. At that time I was only cautious that when I threw the ball back towards the field, my feet should not touch the rope. I knew that this catch was fine. Looking back, anything could have happened. If the ball had gone for 6 runs, then there would have been 10 runs from five balls. We could still have won but the run margin would have been less.'

Surya further said about his amazing catch, 'I have practiced the catch I took according to the wind on different grounds. I was standing a little wide on that ball because Hardik and Rohit bhai had set the field for a wide yorker and Miller hit a straight shot.
