Team India: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) keeps sending its players on tours to various countries to give them experience. India A team also tours many countries and now in this series, a 5-match ODI series is to be played against Namibia.
This series is starting from July 3 and the team has also reached Namibia for this. All the matches of this series will be played at the Wanderers Sports Club in Windhoek and a young player has been made the captain for this series.
Let us tell you that this series is not organized by BCCI but by Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).
According to the Cricket Association, no domestic cricket is being played at this time and that is why it has been decided to organize a 5-match ODI series to give experience to the players. All the players of Punjab will be included in this team, in which many youngsters have been given a chance.This series will be played between 3rd and 10th July and for this the Punjab team has also reached Namibia. Earlier the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup was successfully organized and after this PCA has decided to organize an ODI series against Namibia.
Middle order batsman Nehal Vadhera, who plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL, has been given the captaincy of this team.
This player has impressed everyone with his talent in IPL and now he has been given the captaincy of Punjab. Apart from him, a total of 10 players who played in IPL have been made part of this team.The team consists of a total of 14 players and Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh has been included in the IPL for the role of wicketkeeper. Apart from him, Naman Dheer, who made his debut in IPL 2024 for Mumbai, has been made a part of the team. He also came to the market while playing against Naminia. Spinner Mayank Markande and fast bowler Siddharth Kaul, who have also played for the Indian team, will also be seen playing in this series.
