Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik congratulated Team India on winning the T20 World Cup trophy on Sunday by creating a sand sculpture at Puri Beach in Odisha that featured 500 balls and a 20-foot-long bat with the words “Congratulations! Rohit & Team.” “To congratulate Rohit and his team, we have created a 20-foot bat with 500 balls installed. The Indian Men’s Cricket Team won the T20 World Cup,” Pattnaik added.

At Puri Beach, Pattnaik has also sculpted Captain Rohit Sharma and produced a World Cup trophy. He collaborated with students from his sand art school to finish the sculpture.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he didn’t watch the India vs. South Africa T20 World Cup final because he thinks his team always loses when he watches a match. Posting on his blog, he said, “India is the World Champions! The anxiety, excitement, and fear were all there at once. The TV was not seen, and when I do, we lose.

Star batter Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma’s spouse, received a touching letter from Anushka. She sent a heartfelt message for Virat on Instagram along with a photo of him with the trophy, referring to him as her “home.” Additionally, I adore this man—@virat.kohli.

I’m so happy to call you home. Please enjoy a glass of sparkling water on me as we celebrate.
